Describing statistics
Begin a describtion from a statistic with the introduction. What type of statistic are you going to analyse? What is the statistic about?
When you have answer this questions, you can begin with the general informations. What does the statistic refer to or compare? From which year is it?
After this we come to the next point: Analysis. What does the statistic tell you? What information do you get? Don't describe each and every bar but focus on the most striking ones.
Than last point we have the summary. What is the general message? Can you trust the statistic?
When you follow all this question, you can describe a statistic.
